Diane

Hello and welcome to Mindfulness for PMDD with Diane. I’m Diane and I’m a registered dietitian, lactation consultant, mindfulness teacher and mom. I’m also a person who lives with PMDD: Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder, a debilitating psychological and biological condition that affects 2-8% of menstruators. Mindfulness has been an anchor in the management of my own PMDD–at every step along my journey–and has led me to a place of finding compassion for myself and acceptance of my PMDD. Now, I am helping other PMDD Warriors to find management and acceptance of PMDD through mindfulness. In this podcast I’ll discuss issues related to PMDD, through the lens of mindfulness and meditation.

I’ll talk about:

-how mindfulness can help with management of PMDD symptoms

-and share lots of ways to make mindfulness feel more accessible and easier to stick with!

I’ll also discuss broader topics, through the lens of PMDD and mindfulness, like:

  • Parenting, Work and career, and Nutrition
  • I’ll discuss the Self-loathing, low self-esteem, imposter syndrome and identity crisis that can come with PMDD and how mindfulness has helped me navigate that
  • I’ll even guide you through meditations and mindfulness exercises.

So, if you have–or think you might have–PMDD and you’re curious about how mindfulness can help you manage your symptoms and maybe even experience a mindset shift, this podcast is for you. And if you know someone who has PMDD, please share this podcast with them! Thanks for listening and I’ll meet you in the episodes.
